  • For the first six months, there is no cost to Brokers. Lakefront Living covers all expenses, including the MLS RETS data feed, state page creation (including individual lake pages), blog creation & hosting, as well as LeadPost integration. After the initial six months, the only required expense for Brokers is the RETS feed, which averages $100 per month. Additionally, Brokers have the option to continue using LeadPost for a nominal monthly fee.

  • Yes, Lakefront Living asks for a standard 25% referral fee on any closed business via our website leads. Leads are tracked and managed through our CRM (Follow Up Boss).

  • We understand that today’s internet-savvy buyers often register on multiple websites as they explore lakefront properties. That’s why our Feed for Leads program is designed with both flexibility and fairness in mind when it comes to potential lead duplication.

    Importantly, we do not pass along raw or unqualified leads. Each lead undergoes a detailed qualification process before being referred to a broker. We require 6 key criteria to be established to ensure the lead is serious, motivated, and ready to move forward:

    1. Confirmed price range

    2. Verified as pre-approved or a cash buyer

    3. Determined if they have a home to sell first

    4. Preferred lake/location(s)

    5. Whether they are currently working with another agent

    6. Their buying time frame

    If a lead already exists in your system, it is excluded from our agreement under any of the following conditions:

    • The individual has previously bought or sold property through you or your brokerage at any time

    • The individual is currently under agreement or has an active listing with your office

    • You have submitted offers on behalf of this client, now or in the past

    • The client has signed a buyer agency agreement with you

    • Other exceptions can be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation

    Our goal is to provide new, actionable, and qualified opportunities for our partners. We respect the relationships brokers have already established and make every effort to avoid redundancy or conflict.

  • About 95% of the 800+ MLS systems nationwide allow this activity. Lakefront Living’s web engineers would consult your specific MLS to comply with their rules & regulations.

  • Brokers have their own access to the admin side of LakefrontLiving.com, where new lake property listings are automatically imported multiple times a day through the RETS data feed. Most listings are automatically matched to a lake on your state page, but some may need to be manually assigned by the broker. You can also choose to "Feature" ANY listings to highlight them on the site.

  • No. You will have exclusive rights to all leads from within your MLS territory.
